Das Aad Hollander Trio from Hell ist die Hausband des berühmten Klubs Helsinki in Zürich/Schweiz und spielt seit August 2004 daselbst jeden Sonntag, ab 22 Uhr.
Die Besetzung, Drums-Bass-Gitarre, strikte instrumental, pflegt mit Begeisterung Country, Rockabilly, Polka, Blues und Boogie. Macht Rock’n’Roll, alte Schule.
Drummer Aad Hollander stammt aus der frühen Amsterdamer Punkszene (Wormer punks), spielte seit den späten Siebzigern mit Bands wie Zowiso, The Ex, The Plot, The Happysad, Country Terminators, Hillbilly Moon Explosion, Admiral James T., Guz u.a., und das stets mit grosser Hingabe. Seine erste Europa- und Ostblock-Tour spielte er im Alter von 15.
Rienk Jiskoot, Bassist, begann ebenso mit Punkbands in Amsterdam, heiratete Ende Achtziger in die Schweiz, spielte bei The Happysad und hatte auch sonst keine gröberen Karriere-Höhepunkte.
Heinz Rohrer, Telecaster-Gitarre, stammt aus dem Rheintal, wuchs auf mit Blasmusik, bevor er vom Blues abberufen wurde. Spielte seit den frühen Achtzigern mit diversen Bands in Zürich,
unter anderen The Happysad, und Blues in Chicago. Verdankt seinen Gitarrenjob beim Trio seinen exzellenten Beziehungen zur ehemaligen holländischen Punkszene.
Die Musik des Trios spielt mittlerweile für Erwachsene, was auch ein paar Junge zu schätzen wissen, an der Einstellung zur Welt und dem Kulturbetrieb hat sich wenig geändert.
Ausserdem garantiert der Name des Aad Hollander Trio from Hell vordersten Platz in jedem Veranstaltungskalender.

The Aad Hollander Trio from Hell are the resident house band at Switzerland's famous Helsinki Club in Zurich. They've played there every Sunday night since August 2004.
With a Line-Up of Drums, Bass and Guitar they play strictly instrumental Country, Rockabilly, Polka, Blues and Boogie; handling everything with their own sense of love, care and enthusiasm. Or put another way – They play Rock'n'Roll, old school.
Drummer Aad Hollander came out of the early Amsterdam punk scene (Wormer punks). He's been playing since the late 1970's with bands such as Zowiso, The Ex, The Plot, The Happysad, Country Terminators, Hillbilly Moon Explosion, Admiral James T., Guz and more..., and always with dedication and feeling. He played his first west- and eastern european tour at the age of fifteen.
Rienk Jiskoot, Bassist, also started out with punk bands in Amsterdam. He married in Switzerland in the late eighties, played in The Happysad and since then has had no other career highlights.
Heinz Rohrer, Telecaster-Guitar, grew up in the Rhine valley with the sound of Brass in his ears until the blues called him away. He's played since the early eighties with various bands in Zurich, amongst others, The Happysad, and, of course - he's played the blues in Chicago. Thanks to his relationship with the former Dutch punk scene, he got the guitar job for Trio from Hell.
The Trio play for an adult audience as well as a growing number of young people who have come to realize that the world hasn't changed as much as we think.
